'Castle' Season 8 Spoilers: Premiere Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In Episode 1, 'XY'? [VIDEO]
It seems like the stars of "Castle" are taking turns going MIA. In the Season 7 premiere, it was Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) searching for husband-to-be Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion) after he disappeared following an attempted car bombing on the day of their wedding. According to the synopsis for the Season 8 premiere, "XY," the tables will turn this year. The synopsis for the premiere reveals that this time around it will be Castle searching for Beckett. Fans do not yet know why the soon-to-be-promoted detective is missing as, unlike after Season 6, the episode does not follow an action-packed cliff-hanger.
