Orange County Choppers headquarters to be auctioned off

Staff Reporter TOWN OF NEWBURGH — Orange County Choppers, the troubled motorcycle lifestyle brand company, took another hit to its image with the planned auction of its glass-and-steel “World Headquarters. ” Bidding will start at $900,000 for the 61,000-square-foot building built in 2008 specifically for OCC’s custom motorcycle operation at a cost of approximately $13 million. The auction takes place from March 7 to March 9. Orange County Choppers eventually surrendered the property in 2011 to its lender, GE Commercial Finance Business Corp. , to avoid foreclosure, but continued to lease about two-thirds of the property.
